maestro A.R. Rahman is ready to launch his ‘Wonderment – The Tour’ in Mumbai with
a grand premiere. Celebrating 30 glorious years in the music and global film
industry, with this one-of-a-kind global tour, Rahman is all set to redefine
live music experiences. Created in partnership with Fair Game Entertainment and
Percept Live, the production promises a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the
iconic compositions of Rahman, enriched with surprise performances and acts by
singers who have been an important part of his musical journey.
‘Wonderment’
is a large-scale musical celebration and not just an ordinary concert. It
blends innovation, nostalgia, and storytelling. Following the premiere in
Mumbai, the tour is anticipated to travel across various international cities,
offering a chance to global audiences to witness the magic of Rahman.
The
inaugural concert of ‘Wonderment – The Tour’ will take place on May 3 at DY
Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Speaking about the tour, Rahman said, “With
wonderment, our aim was to convey the aspect that every note, every rhythm,
tells a story. I hope to merge tradition with innovation, bringing together the
past and the future in a celebration of music. Mumbai’s energy and spirit are
unmatched, and it’s a joy to bring this unique musical experience to the heart
of the city."
AR Rahman got discharged from Chennai hospital. The actor suffered dehydration symptoms. A
medical bulletin by Dr R.K. Venkatasalam, Director of Medical Services, said,
“A. R. Rahman visited Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, this morning with
dehydration symptoms and got discharged after a routine check-up."
Recently, Rahman made headlines after he was hospitalized in Chennai, from which he recovered and returned back. Despite the health scare, A.R. Rahman shows is not ready to slow down. Over his glorious career, Rahman has earned two Grammys, two Academy Awards, a BAFTA, six National Film Awards, a Golden Globe, and many more accolades. In 2010, he was also honored with the Padma Bhushan. With ‘Wonderment’, Rahman is all set to mesmerize the world once again with his music.
