Mocaine - An infusion of Blues and Grunge Sound.
The trio, Mocaine, in its current avatar, was formed by Amrit Mohan along with Abhay Rathore and Kabir Agarwal in January 2018, and describes its music as somewhere between the Blues and the Seattle sound. Since January, the band has played over a dozen shows across 5 cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Varanasi, Gwalior), won 1st Runners Up at IIT-BHU, recorded a 5-track EP called 'Portrait of Dalí' and released music videos for almost every track.

Mocaine's raw, energetic performances have captivated audiences everywhere they have performed. At their last gig at The Finch, Mumbai, they played a set of 20 songs, 15 originals and 5 covers. When asked about their performance, Amrit said "The fact that The Finch has a great sound, and one of the most learned sound engineers we've met so far, Camille Polycarp, went a long way in helping us deliver one of our finer sets." On their favorite Mumbai based act, he said "we really dig this band called BLAKC. The Consequence of Feeling was an epic release."
